Delhi wakes up with rain

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Rain continued in the national capital for the second day on Sunday. The weather has become pleasant in the areas around Delhi-NCR, which has given people relief from the heat. But due to waterlogging in many areas of Delhi due to heavy rains, people are facing many problems.

The Met department has issued an orange alert for Sunday. Earlier, a yellow alert was issued for Saturday, which was changed to a red alert after heavy rains. The temperature also dropped by eight notches below normal and the maximum temperature settled at 28.7 degrees Celsius.
