Delhi: Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj has raised serious concerns about a road construction project that he claims has continued despite a Supreme Court stay order. Speaking on the matter, Bharadwaj highlighted the environmental impact and potential corruption involved.

"Hundreds of trees have been cut in the name of widening the road. The road on which we are standing is new and in the middle of the forest. The Supreme Court had put a stay on all work here and despite that, work is going on," said Bharadwaj.

He pointed out that farmhouse owners have significantly benefited from the project, suggesting the possibility of a major scam. "Farmhouses and their owners have greatly benefited from this. The possibility of a big scam in this is evident," Bharadwaj added.
