Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj has responded to doctors' demands for a safer and more secure working environment in government hospitals. Speaking after a meeting with healthcare professionals, Bharadwaj confirmed that the government has agreed to all the demands made by the doctors.
To address the security concerns, Bharadwaj proposed a significant enhancement to hospital security. "Demands of doctors are very genuine, and they are asking for a safe and secure atmosphere at government hospitals, which is a basic right for everyone. We have agreed to all their demands. So what we are proposing is, suppose we have a staff of security guards which is 400 in total. Among these 400, we will hire 10 percent security guards who come from the background of armed forces," he said. This move is aimed at bolstering security and ensuring a safer environment for both patients and healthcare workers.
