Delhi Education Minister Orders Halt to Teacher Transfers

Delhi’s Education Minister Atishi has written to Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar, instructing him to immediately withdraw the teacher transfer orders issued on July 2. She also directed a halt to any further compulsory transfers of teachers based solely on their completion of 10 years in a particular school. This move aims to address concerns regarding the impact of such transfers on the stability and quality of education in Delhi’s schools.
