Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated the 'Mahila Maha Jan Sunwai', a five-day camp organized by the National Commission for Women, aimed at providing rapid resolution to pending cases concerning women in the city. The event, which took place at a prominent venue, saw the presence of the entire team from the Women’s Commission and the National President of the Commission.

During her speech, CM Gupta expressed optimism about the initiative, calling it "a very good beginning" for addressing the grievances of women. She assured that swift action was being taken on all outstanding cases and highlighted the Commission’s commitment to resolving issues promptly. "I believe that all unhappy and distressed women should get justice," she remarked, emphasizing that the government was prioritizing their concerns.

Gupta also mentioned the government's recognition of the need to establish a dedicated Women's Commission to ensure better hearings and more focused attention on women's issues in the future. "All actions are being taken quickly, and we are taking cognizance of the fact that a Women's Commission should be formed soon," she added. The camp aims to foster greater access to justice for women across Delhi, providing them with a platform to voice their concerns directly to authorities.
