New Delhi: Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is set to deliver the Inaugural Plenary address at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Annual Business Summit 2025 tomorrow, 29th May, in the national capital. The event, one of India’s premier business and policy forums, will see Singh address top industry leaders, policymakers, and global stakeholders at around 10:30 AM.
The CII Annual Business Summit is a flagship event that brings together thought leaders from government, industry, academia, and civil society to deliberate on strategies for national growth and global engagement. This year’s summit is expected to focus on economic resilience, self-reliance, innovation, and sustainable development amid evolving global challenges.
As Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh's address is likely to underscore India’s growing defence manufacturing sector, opportunities for private sector collaboration under the ‘Make in India’ initiative, and the importance of security as a key pillar for economic development.
