New Delhi: Congress MP Deepender Hooda has lauded the Indian armed forces for their precise strikes on terror bases in Pakistan, describing the recent press briefing by military officials as “apt” and “pinpointed.” Speaking to reporters in Delhi, Hooda expressed pride in the nation's military and called for a special Parliament session to formally recognize their service and discuss the recent sequence of events, including the US-announced ceasefire.
“The press briefing by our armed forces was so apt... The words they chose were so pinpointed, just the precision with which they targeted terror hotbeds in Pakistan. I take pride in Hind ki Sena,” Hooda said. His remarks come in the wake of escalating tensions following the Pahalgam terror attack and subsequent military responses by India.
He reiterated the Congress party’s demand for the government to convene Parliament, arguing that it was essential both to honour the armed forces and to provide a transparent account of the decisions and developments that unfolded. “This is important to extend our gratitude to the armed forces and also to get more clarity about all the chain of events since the Pahalgam terror attack to the ceasefire which the US President announced,” he added.
