CR Kesavan Slams Congress Over Remarks on Operation Sindoor, Lauds PM Modi’s Leadership

New Delhi: BJP leader CR Kesavan strongly defended Operation Sindoor on Wednesday, calling it a powerful demonstration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “unbending resolve” to safeguard national security and honor the sacrifice of India’s armed forces. In a sharp statement, Kesavan also criticized the Congress party, accusing it of disrespecting the military and undermining national unity.

“Operation Sindoor is a true testimony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's unbending resolve to protect national interests and our people,” Kesavan said. “It also symbolises the unparalleled sacrifice and dedication of our brave armed personnel.”

He condemned recent comments by Congress leaders Raashid Alvi and Jignesh Mevani, who questioned the authenticity and motives behind the operation. “Even at this juncture, the Congress party stooped to its lowest nether,” Kesavan stated. “Raashid Alvi demanded proof for Operation Sindoor, and Jignesh Mevani maligned the army using terms like ‘warmongering’ and ‘fake nationalism.’”

Kesavan emphasized that such remarks not only insult the military’s efforts but also risk weakening the nation's morale at a time when unity is essential. “The Congress party's reprehensible behaviour will never be forgotten nor forgiven by the people,” he declared.
