Congress Releases 6th List of Candidates For Lok Sabha Elections

Ahead of the Lok Sabha Elections, the Indian National Congress released the sixth list of candidates on March 25, Monday. The list features five candidates out of which four are from Rajasthan and one from Tamil Nadu.

Congress Releases 6th List of Candidates For Lok Sabha Elections

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Ahead of the Lok Sabha Elections, the Indian National Congress released the sixth list of candidates on March 25, Monday. 

The list features five candidates out of which four are from Rajasthan and one from Tamil Nadu. Moreover, Ramchandra Chowdhary is set to contest from Ajmer, Sudarshan Rawat has been fielded in the Rajsamand seat, Prahlad Gunjal will contest from Kota while Dr. Damodar Gurjar is set to contest from Bhilwara. Furthermore, Congress fielded Advocate C. Robert Bruce in Tamil Nadu's Tirunelveli. 

BJP also released its fifth list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on March 24 which featured veteran Congress leader Naveen Jindal from Kurukshetra and former JMM MLA Sita Soren from Dumka, Jharkhand. 

The Election Commission of India announced the schedule for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on March 16. The election will be held in seven phases beginning on April 19. Moreover, the Model Code of Conduct has come into effect since the announcement and will be imposed till the result declaration.
