CM Vishnu Deo Sai Inaugurates Raipur-Jabalpur Rail Service, Thanks PM Modi and Railway Minister

Raipur: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Saturday described the inauguration of the new Raipur-Jabalpur rail service as a significant development for the state’s connectivity and economic growth. Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Chief Minister said the new service is a “matter of great fortune” for the people of Chhattisgarh.

“On behalf of the 3 crore citizens of Chhattisgarh, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to Prime Minister Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. This rail service will not only strengthen the ties between Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh but will also greatly benefit our people by enhancing travel convenience and fostering trade opportunities,” Sai stated.

The Raipur-Jabalpur rail link is expected to provide improved connectivity for passengers and facilitate the smoother movement of goods between key industrial and commercial hubs. It is also anticipated to bolster tourism in both states by providing easier access to cultural and natural attractions along the route.

Highlighting the broader impact, the Chief Minister said the new rail service reflects the Central Government’s commitment to infrastructure development in Chhattisgarh. “This addition to our transport network will accelerate the pace of development and open new avenues for economic growth in the region,” Sai added.
