New Delhi: Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu on Monday addressed queries regarding the recent RAT (Ram Air Turbine) deployment on a UK-bound Air India Dreamliner and the ongoing investigation into the Ahmedabad plane crash.

Regarding the RAT incident, the minister stated that authorities are working to identify the root cause and will consult all relevant stakeholders, including Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). “The DGCA is involved, and they are finding out the root cause. Once understood, we will conduct a thorough study with all concerned parties,” he said.

On the Ahmedabad plane crash investigation, Naidu noted that the final report will take time to be completed. He emphasized that the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) is conducting a “transparent, independent study,” and clarified that there will be no pressure from the ministry on the investigation process.
