Raipur: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has expressed support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's environmental appeal, which encouraged citizens to plant saplings in honor of their mothers. Speaking about the campaign, Sai stated, "We have a target of planting 4 crore trees in Chhattisgarh, and it's progressing as a mass movement. It's a revolution in the field of environment."
Shifting focus to the current scenario in Jammu and Kashmir, Sai noted the positive changes since the abrogation of Article 370. "Earlier, stone pelting was a regular occurrence, but now it has stopped, and elections are being conducted peacefully. The world has witnessed this transformation," he added.
The tree plantation drive and J&K's evolving political landscape were highlighted as symbols of development and progress.
