Centre rushes CRPF, Manipur on boil

According to information from the union ministry of home affairs, CRPF and army are being air lifted and deployed in these areas in Bishenpur and Charuchandrapur.

N Biren Singh government has lost total control of the affected areas in Manipur as violence continues unabated. According to information from the union ministry of home affairs, CRPF and army are being air lifted and deployed in these areas in Bishenpur and Charuchandrapur. Violence broke out in Manipur after a rally organised following High Court directive to include Meitei community in the SC catagory.

Senior CRPF officers told ANM News from Delhi that situation is tense as local police has fled from the police station leaving the armoury and weapons at the mercy of the arsonists. Kuki who are in majority in Bishnupur and Charuchandrapur are fighting a pitched battles with the Meitei community.  Intelligence reports indicate that chief minister N Biren Singh has lost control and even Manipur police has not been able to tackle the situation.
