Centre appoints Sonali Mishra as the new chief of RPF

By A Staff Reporter: In a landmark decision, BJP government has appointed a 1993 batch IPS officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre, Sonali Mishra as the director general of Railway Protection Force.

Mishra will take over from Manoj Yadava who is set to retire on July 31. The decorated IPS officer has served with distinction in various organisations like the CBI and BSF and is currently posted as special director general of police in Madhya Pradesh. Mishra brings with her more than 30 years of distinguished service to the nation.
