BREAKING: Many BJP leaders resign

By a Staff Reporter: There is tension between the Gujjar and Rajput communities over the unveiling of Mihir Bhoj's idol. As a result, several members of the BJP in Kaithal district have resigned from the party. Haryana's BJP Kisan Morcha member Sanjeev Rana said, "Our people were protesting peacefully but the administration deliberately lathi-charged us. We were only demanding that the new statue of our great leader Mihir Bhoj should be named Hindu Samrat. We didn't ask anyone to write a Rajput or a Gujjar, we only asked them to write a Hindu Samrat. All the Rajput leaders of the BJP have sent their resignations to Haryana state president Om Prakash Dhankhar. We have resigned en masse from all posts of BJP. We will have no contact with the BJP until Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar talks to us."
