By a Satff Reporter: The Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party have formed a grand alliance at the central level to defeat the NDA in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. However, this time the conflict between Congress and AAP came to the fore again in the Punjab on Lok Sabha elections. Opposition leader and Congress leader Pratap Singh Bajwa has hit out at the AAP government in Punjab.
He said, "Congress has been one of the two main parties in Punjab for a long time. People wanted a change, they brought these people (AAP) to power. But people have suffered. Punjab has suffered economically, law and order and in other ways. I am sure Congress will return with a big margin in 2024 assembly elections. One alliance is led by BJP and the other is led by Congress, so people will cast their votes either for BJP or Congress. AAp nowhere. Why should we ally with AAP?"
