Patna, Bihar: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) Chairman, Parmar Ravi Manubhai, has refuted claims that the question paper for the BAPU Exam at a Patna centre went viral on social media. Addressing concerns following reports of students causing a disturbance at the exam centre, Manubhai assured the public that the exam was conducted smoothly across all districts of Bihar, including Patna.
"The exam was conducted smoothly in all the districts of Bihar, including Patna," Manubhai said in a statement. "At a centre in Patna, the commission received information about some students creating a ruckus. The commission immediately contacted the people waiting at the centre and deputed two officers of the commission to handle the situation."
Manubhai also responded to rumors circulating on social media and news channels about a possible leak of the question paper. "No one on social media or news channels had given any proof or complained about the question paper going viral. The commission never received any complaints," he clarified.
According to the BPSC Chairman, despite the minor disturbances, the examination was completed without any major issues, and there was no evidence to suggest any malfeasance related to the question paper.
The remarks come amid growing concerns over the integrity of the examination process, with the BPSC maintaining that no complaints or formal evidence of a paper leak had been received. The commission’s swift response to the Patna incident, as well as its assurance of a smooth examination process, has been aimed at quelling the rumors and maintaining public confidence in the integrity of the BPSC exams.
