Manipur crisis: BJP likely to remove CM Biren

You heard it first on ANM News. BJP is on lookout for candidates to replace beleaguered chief minister of Manipur N Biren Singh. After ANM News exposed the failure of N Biren Singh to control violence, BJP top brass has now gotten into the act of finding a replacement for him.

The natural choice, according to locals in Manipur, should be Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, the current minister of state for external affairs and education. BJP sources in Delhi while confirming that N Biren Singh is on his way out, mentioned that Th Basanta Singh, PWD minister Govindas, senior party leader TH Biswajit Singh and former IPS officer and party legislator Th Radheshyam Singh are also in the fray.

N Biren Singh has completely mishandled the crisis resulting in widespread violence and death and mayhem in the peaceful border state. Security forces claimed that the situation is still tense.
