'Congress will win elections': Leader confident

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Tuesday evening held a meeting with Mizoram Congress leaders to discuss the preparations for the Mizoram polls. Today's meeting was also attended by Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and KC Venugopal.

After the meeting, Congress general secretary KC Venugopal said, "We had a long discussion on the preparations for the Mizoram elections. We are confident that the Congress will win the Mizoram elections." 

"This is an opportunity for MVA to get stronger. The BJP's washing machine mission has resumed in Maharashtra."

On the political situation in Maharashtra, Congress general secretary KC Venugopal said, "People of Maharashtra will stand with the MVA. '
