By a Staff Reporter: Poor people have to suffer to pay electricity bills. This time Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has taken a big decision regarding the electricity service keeping in mind the poor and middle class families. He said that up to 100 units of electricity will be provided free of cost in the state. In a Message, he said, "After observing the inflation relief camp and talking to the public, there should be a slight change in the slab-based concession in the electricity bill. The public's opinion on the energy surcharge in the May electricity bill has also been received. On the basis of which major decisions have been taken. Those  who consume up to 100 units of electricity per month will get zero electricity bill.They will not have to pay any bill. Households who consume more than 100 units of electricity per month will get the first 100 units of electricity for free i.e. they will not have to pay any electricity bill for the first 100 units regardless of the bill. This decision has been taken especially keeping the middle class in mind. Customers who consume up to 200 units of electricity per month will get the first 100 units of electricity free and up to 200 units of electricity fixed charges, fuel surcharge and all other charges will be waived."
