Big news: BJP MP meets opposition leader

By a Staff Reporter: Opposition parties across the country are forming alliances against the BJP. The aim is to defeat the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. However, HD Devegowda's party JD(S) has not yet joined the opposition alliance despite contesting the assembly elections against the BJP in Karnataka. This time BJP leader and Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya met former Prime Minister and JD(S) chief HD Devegowda as part of BJP's 'Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan'. The two leaders discussed the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government across the country in the last 9 years. It is to be noted that HD Devegowda also handed over a scholarship check of 10,000 rupees to 10 students under the 'NaMo Vidyanidhi scholarship' programme.
