Bangladesh will not allow anti India elements to operate: Home minister Khan

By Avijit Nandi Majumdar: Unlike Canada and Pakistan, Bangladesh will not allow any separatists and terrorists and anti India elements to take shelter or operate out of their soil, mentioned the newly appointed home minister Asaduzzaman Khan. Speaking exclusively over phone from Dhaka, Khan said Bangladesh is committed to have strong and peaceful relations with India.

``We have in the past handed over criminals and terrorists wanted by India after finding out that they are trying to take shelter in our country and we will continue to do so,'' he said. The Bangladesh home minister claimed that they are working on strengthening the intelligence sharing machinery between two countries for seamless anti insurgency drive. India has repeatedly pointed evidence to prove Canada and Pakistan harbouring terrorists and anti India seperatists.
