New Delhi: Delhi Assembly Leader of Opposition and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishi has strongly criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the recent summons issued to former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia in connection with the alleged classroom construction scam. Calling the case “fake,” Atishi said it is just the latest in a long series of politically motivated investigations aimed at discrediting AAP leaders.

“Former minister Manish Sisodia was summoned for questioning in a fake classroom scam case. This is yet another addition to the series of fake cases filed by the BJP,” she said during a press briefing. Atishi claimed that over the past decade, more than 200 cases have been filed by central agencies against AAP leaders, but none have yielded “even one rupee of corrupt money.”

She accused the BJP of weaponizing investigative agencies to compensate for its failures in governance, especially in the national capital. “Whether it’s waterlogging, power outages, or the unchecked rise in private school fees, the BJP has failed miserably on every front,” she asserted.
