Sunderbani, J&K — Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi today visited forward areas and posts along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Sunderbani sector of Jammu and Kashmir to assess the operational readiness of Indian Army units deployed in the region.

During the visit, General Dwivedi was given a detailed briefing by Formation Commanders on the prevailing security scenario and the operational dynamics of the sector. The Army Chief reviewed strategic deployments and received a comprehensive overview of force preparedness, surveillance capabilities, and the evolving threat landscape along the LoC.

While interacting with soldiers on the round, General Dwivedi praised their performance in the recently conducted Operation Sindoor, describing it as a reflection of the Army’s unwavering commitment to national security. He commended all ranks for their professionalism, dedication, and steadfastness in the face of continued challenges.

He also emphasized the need for constant agility, vigilance, and responsiveness, citing the ever-changing nature of security threats. “It is critical that we remain operationally prepared and institutionally resilient at all times,” he said, urging the troops to maintain high levels of morale and readiness.
