BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant development, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh authorized a financial incentive which will award financial incentive to defense personnel who earned medals in the Asian and Para-Asian games on 24th February, Saturday.

Furthermore, individuals who bagged gold medals will get a cash reward of Rs 25 lakhs each, Silver medal winners to get Rs 15 lakhs each, and Bronze medal winners to get Rs 10 lakhs each.

The 19th Asian Games and 4th Para-Asian Games were organized in Hangzhou, China in September-October 2023.
