BY A STAFF REPORTER: The Supreme Court on Tuesday came heavily upon Baba Ramdev and asserted that his apology for the misleading ads is not earnest.

The statement came after Baba Ramdev tendered an apology and assured that he wouldn't repeat past mistakes. Moreover, Senior Advocate Mukul Rohatgi told the Top Court that Ramdev is willing to issue a public apology. However, Justice Amanullah asserted that the apology and regret in the Court didn't seem earnest.

The Apex Court posted Patanjali's misleading advertisement case for hearing on April 23 and stated that Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balakrishna have to be present on the date.

The Supreme Court issued a contempt notice to Patanjali Ayurved for releasing misleading commercials concerning medicinal cures on February 27, Tuesday. The move came despite Patanjali assuring the Top Court not to publish such an advertisement.
