Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah, while addressing a public rally in Mustafabad, launched a sharp attack on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him of failing to deliver on key promises, including the cleaning of the Yamuna River and proper arrangements for Chhath Pooja. He mocked Kejriwal’s earlier statement about taking a dip in the river, pointing out that the AAP leader never followed through.

Shah claimed that instead of fulfilling his pledge, Kejriwal was now blaming the Haryana government, alleging that it was polluting the river. He dismissed these accusations as mere excuses, arguing that Kejriwal’s government had ample time and resources to improve the situation but failed to act.
Highlighting BJP’s vision for Delhi, Shah assured the public that the central government was committed to making the city pollution-free. He also reiterated BJP’s plan to establish a Sports University in the capital, a promise aimed at promoting sports and providing better facilities for aspiring athletes.
