Amit Shah inaugurates Training Programme on Legislative Drafting

By A Staff Reporter : Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated a training program on legal drafting in New Delhi on Monday.The event is organized by the Institute of Constitutional and Parliamentary Studies in association with the Parliamentary Research and Training Institute for Democracy.It aims to create an understanding of the policy and practice of law making among Parliament, State Legislatures and officers of various ministries, statutory bodies and other government departments."Legislation is not a science or an art, it is a skill which must be practiced with spirit. The law must be clear," Shah said while inaugurating a training program on legislative drafting.
