Amit Shah Hails ISRO on National Space Day, Calls Chandrayaan-3 a Landmark Achievement

New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday marked National Space Day with a message celebrating India’s achievements in space exploration and praising the scientists behind them. In a post on social media, Shah recalled the success of Chandrayaan-3, which made history by landing on the Moon’s South Pole, and described it as a moment of immense pride for the entire nation.

Shah lauded the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for its “unwavering dedication” and said the agency’s work has consistently expanded India’s scientific frontiers. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership with giving new momentum to space missions, enabling India to advance rapidly in global space exploration.

The Home Minister highlighted the role of Chandrayaan-3 in sparking enthusiasm among young Indians, noting that such achievements inspire innovation and broaden aspirations. He also pointed to ongoing and upcoming projects, including the Aditya mission, as symbols of a rising India’s commitment to exploring new scientific horizons.
