New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday congratulated Indian Air Force officer and astronaut Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla on his participation in Axiom Mission 4, a landmark international space mission to the International Space Station (ISS). Shah hailed the moment as one of immense pride for “Bharat” and extended his best wishes to the crew.

In a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Shah wrote:

“A proud moment for Bharat, as Indian Astronaut, Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla embarks on the journey to the International Space Station as one of the members of the Axiom Mission 4 crew. Group Captain Shukla's selection as part of the Axiom Mission 4 marks a significant chapter in India's growing role in global space exploration efforts.
