Ajmer: As part of celebrations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming birthday on September 17, Gaddi Nashin of Dargah Ajmer Sharif, Syed Afshan Chishty, has announced a special seva program to mark the occasion. Speaking to the media, Chishty shared that religious places across the country will host various service-oriented programs in honor of the Prime Minister.
At Ajmer Sharif, a langar will be organized where 4,000 kg of vegetarian food, including rice cooked in pure ghee and dry fruits, will be prepared and distributed. The initiative is being undertaken by the Indian Minority Foundation in collaboration with the Chishty Foundation.
Chishty emphasized the importance of serving the underprivileged, saying, "On the occasion of PM Modi's birthday, we will not only distribute this food but also offer langar to the Gurus and those in need around us as a service."
He further added that special prayers for PM Modi's long life and well-being will be held at the dargah. The langar event is a part of larger nationwide celebrations planned for the Prime Minister’s birthday, which will see service initiatives organized at multiple religious and social venues across the country.
