AIU seizes gold worth over Rs 20 lakh

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) has seized gold worth over Rs 20 lakh. On Monday, June 5, the Air Intelligence Unit of Trichy detained a passenger from Singapore.  During the search, the Air Intelligence Unit seized 338 grams of 24-carat gold worth Rs 20,37,126 from the passenger. The Air Intelligence Unit said gold was hidden in the electronic item.
