Agra, Uttar Pradesh: In a powerful gesture of unity and patriotism, a group of Muslim artisans in Agra — renowned for their exquisite stone craftsmanship — are creating a handcrafted stone portrait of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to honor his leadership during Operation Sindoor. The initiative is being hailed as a symbol of national solidarity across religious lines.

Adnan Sheikh, a handicraft businessman and one of the six artists involved in the project, spoke on behalf of the group. “We, the artists, are creating a portrait of Prime Minister Modi as a tribute to his hard work and dedication during Operation Sindoor,” he said. “The artwork is being crafted using natural stones, and all six of us are from the Muslim community. We are working together on this project with complete devotion.”

Operation Sindoor was launched by the Indian Armed Forces in response to ceasefire violations and terror attacks in Jammu & Kashmir, and has been viewed as a significant success in neutralizing enemy threats and protecting civilian lives. The artisans say their creation aims to recognize the Prime Minister's leadership in safeguarding national security.

“Through this gesture, we want to convey that in times of national crisis, the Muslim community stands firmly with India,” Adnan Sheikh added. “We hope to personally present this portrait to Prime Minister Modi as a token of our respect and national pride.”

The portrait is being meticulously carved using traditional stone inlay techniques, a craft for which Agra is world-famous. Local officials and community members have lauded the initiative as a heartening display of communal harmony and patriotism.
