Delhi: Author and Advaita teacher Acharya Prashant has condemned the recent Pahalgam terror attack, calling it not only an attack on Hindus but on the very fabric of the nation. Speaking about the broader implications of the attack, Acharya Prashant emphasized that such incidents were part of a larger, long-term strategy aimed at dividing the nation from within.

“The attack is not just on Hindus but on the nation. They want the nation to be divided from within,” he stated. Reflecting on the recurring pattern of attacks over the past five decades, he suggested that these acts of terrorism are intended to further the "two-nation theory," a divisive ideology that seeks to separate communities along religious lines.

Acharya Prashant urged Indians to stay united and resilient in the face of such threats. “For the last 50 years, the attacks have aimed to ensure that the two-nation theory succeeds. By staying united, we must ensure that their objectives do not succeed,” he said.

He also expressed concern for the local population in Kashmir, who have been disproportionately affected by the ongoing violence. “Kashmiris have been badly affected by these attacks because they have taken loans for hotels, taxis... It is time to take Kashmir along,” he added, underscoring the importance of economic and social stability for the region’s recovery.

Acharya Prashant’s call for unity and support for Kashmiris emphasizes the need for a collective national effort to heal wounds and preserve the integrity of the nation, especially in the face of external forces aiming to destabilize India.
