Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of orchestrating an attack on AAP workers while they were campaigning near a slum, just 100 meters from Parliament. Addressing the media, Singh alleged that BJP-backed goons physically assaulted AAP volunteers despite them having permission to campaign in the area.

According to Singh, when he arrived at the spot, Delhi Police officers were present, but BJP supporters were openly raising slogans against AAP in their presence. He claimed that despite urging the police to ensure security and intervene, they did not respond. He called this a clear instance of bias and negligence on the part of law enforcement authorities.

Slamming the Election Commission, Singh stated that the incident was an example of how elections were being compromised under BJP rule. He alleged that the democratic process was being reduced to a mere formality, as opposition parties were facing obstacles and violence during their campaigns.
