AAP MP Sanjay Singh Allowed to Sign Rajya Sabha Re-nomination Papers

BY A STAFF REPORTER: AAP Member of Parliament Sanjay Singh has been nominated by the party to serve as a Rajya Sabha Member as his current term concludes on January 27th.

Sanjay Singh was allowed to sign documents for his Rajya Sabha re-nomination on Friday in Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court after an application was filed seeking permission for Singh to sign on an 'undertaking' which is reported to be required to secure a no-dues certificate from Rajya Sabha.

In the meantime, the AAP MP moved to the Delhi High Court petitioning for bail in the Delhi excise policy's Money Laundering Scam for which the Enforcement Directorate also arrested him on 4th October 2023.
