London — Speaking at the prestigious Ideas for India Conference 2025 in London, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha addressed the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, and India’s strategic response, urging the international community to reassess its support for Pakistan amid growing concerns over terrorism sponsorship.

Chadha described the Pahalgam attack, where 26 civilians were brutally killed, as “cowardly” and highlighted India’s strategic autonomy in responding decisively yet responsibly. “India did go around town seeking consent to retaliate,” Chadha said, emphasizing that India informed its global partners before launching “a non-escalatory, precise, measured, calculated swift response” targeting terror infrastructure across the border while avoiding civilian or military bases.

He asserted that such cross-border strikes are becoming “the new normal,” setting an expectation that India will continue to act firmly against terrorism emanating from Pakistan.

Chadha further questioned the repeated financial bailouts Pakistan receives from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), suggesting that the funds may be diverted to support “nefarious activities and designs of the regime.”

“It’s high time the world realizes that lies and loans cannot go together, diplomacy and duplicity of Pakistan cannot go together, blood and water cannot flow together, and terror and tolerance cannot be together,” Chadha declared.
