Mizoram elections: 'People of Mizoram should have faith in the BJP'

Nagaland Minister Temzen Imna Along has made a big claim about Mizoram elections. He says, "The Mizo people understand a nationalist party like the BJP very much. I think we should work harder and engage with them because the perception they have about the BJP is not the right idea. The BJP is a political party that is nationalist in every way. The BJP has leaders like Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and JP Nadda. I believe Mizoram is yet to understand this. I was surprised when the MNF said it was only allying with the BJP on an issue-based basis. This shows that the MNF has no agenda. The people of Mizoram need a development agenda. I think the people of Mizoram should have faith in the BJP. “
