The year 2024 began with the blessings of Ramlala, as the idol was ceremoniously installed in the Ram Temple at Ayodhya on January 22. This landmark event was celebrated with grandeur, even as work on the temple continues. With the completion of the temple’s main sanctum, Ramlala found a new home in the temple premises, drawing widespread devotion and attention.

According to the Ram Janmabhoomi Tirthakshetra Trust, the entire temple complex, spanning 70 acres, is on track for completion by mid-2025. Anil Mishra, a trust member, shared that while the ground floor is fully constructed, work on the first and second floors is ongoing. The trust aims to inaugurate the first floor of the temple on January 11, 2025.

In addition to the main temple, 18 auxiliary temples within the complex are also under construction, with deadlines set between March and August 2025. This ambitious project symbolizes the fulfillment of decades-long aspirations for many devotees across the nation.

The Ram Temple’s foundation day earlier this year was marked by a vibrant celebration, including a grand bazaar on the temple premises. The Prime Minister’s participation in bringing Ramlala to life during the installation ceremony added historical significance to the event, cementing it as a milestone in India’s cultural and religious heritage.

As work continues, the Ram Temple stands as a beacon of devotion and unity, poised to become one of the most iconic spiritual landmarks in the country.
