Will Gift 35+ Seats From Bengal: Locket Chatterjee Files Nomination

BY A STAFF REPORTER: After filing her nomination, Hooghly MP and BJP Candidate Locket Chatterjee on Tuesday expressed confidence in the Lok Sabha elections' results and asserted that the party will gift more than 35 seats to Prime Minister Narendra Modi from West Bengal.

She was accompanied by Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami while filing her nomination. Moreover, Chatterjee held a roadshow along with the Uttarakhand CM in Hooghly before filing nomination papers.

Pushkar Singh Dhami asserted that BJP will achieve a huge victory in West Bengal. He also maintained that Locket Chatterjee would win this time with double the votes compared to the last election.

Locket Chatterjee has been serving as an MP from the Hooghly constituency since 2019. She will contest against TMC's Rachana Banerjee and CPI(M)'s Manadip Ghosh. Hooghly will go to polls in the fifth phase on May 20.
