West Bengal's Raiganj, Darjeeling, Balurghat To Face Elections Today

BY A STAFF REPORTER: As the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections begins, Polls are being held in West Bengal's Darjeeling, Raiganj, and Balurghat on April 26, Friday.

In Raiganj, there will be a contest between Trinamool's Krishna Kalyani, BJP's Kartick Paul, and Congress' Imran Ali Ramz, alias Victor. Moreover, BJP's Raju Bista will contest against TMC's Gopal Lama and INC's Munish Tamang in Darjeeling. BJP's state President Sukanta Majumdar is set to contest from Balurghat against Bengal Minister Biplab Mitra.

The second phase of Lok Sabha elections are being held in 88 seats across 13 states on Friday. The first phase was held on April 19, Friday, where West Bengal stood in the top three for its high voter turnout.
