BY A STAFF REPORTER: Amid the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections, West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose cast his vote in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala on April 26, Friday.

After casting his vote, CV Ananda Bose stated "Voting symbolises the power of the common man. every citizen must strengthen democracy and the nation. No one should lose his vote. We all should be participants in the development of the nation. Kerala's enlightened voters will certainly rise to the occasion and by evening you'll see the swell in voting percentage, which will exceed even the national percentage. The youth should realise that the power to shape the future lies with them. India is going to be on top of the world when the younger generation takes the lead."

The second phase of the Lok Sabha elections were held in 88 constituencies across 13 states. All constituencies in Kerala went to the polls on Friday.
