Tripura, Manipur Record Highest Voter Turnout In 2nd Phase of LS Polls

As the second phase of the Lok Sabha election concluded, Tripura and Manipur recorded the highest voter turnouts among 13 states around 5:00 PM on April 26, Friday.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: As the second phase of the Lok Sabha election concluded, Tripura and Manipur recorded the highest voter turnouts among 13 states around 5:00 PM on April 26, Friday.

Tripura recorded 77.53% voter turnout, followed by Manipur at 76.06% and West Bengal at 71.84%. Moreover, Maharashtra, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh recorded the lowest voter turnouts at 53.51%, 53.03% and 52.74% respectively.

Manipur, Tripura, and West Bengal were also among the top three in the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections. The second phase of the Lok Sabha elections was held in 88 constituencies across 13 states.
