BY A STAFF REPORTER: While young voters are urged to vote for the Lok Sabha elections, a centenarian lady aged 102 reached the polling station to cast her vote in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu on April 19, Friday.
She reached the polling station in Reddiyarchatram with the support of a stick to walk. Moreover, the centenarian lady reached the station alone. As per the Election Commission of India's data, 2.18 lakh voters are centenarians.

The elections are set to be held in 102 constituencies across 21 states in the first phase of Lok Sabha Polls. West Bengal and Tripura are seeing high rates of voter turnouts on the first day. The results will be declared on June 4.
