Sunita Kejriwal To Begin Election Campaign From Delhi Tomorrow

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Amid the Lok Sabha elections, Delhi Minister Atishi on Friday shared that arrested Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's wife Sunita Kejriwal is set to enter the political arena by beginning the Aam Aadmi Party's election campaign from Delhi on April 27, Saturday. 

Atishi stated that Sunita Kejriwal will enter the 'fray' to protest against Arvind Kejriwal's arrest and seek votes for AAP candidates. She will also hold roadshows in East Delhi and West Delhi on April 28. Moreover, Sunita Kejriwal is set to visit Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat etc as well.

Sunita Kejriwal has also been selected as the Star Campaigner of AAP along with jailed AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, and Satender Jain. With no political background, Sunita Kejriwal has been on the forefront since Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest. 

The Rouse Avenue Court on Tuesday extended Arvind Kejriwal's judicial remand till May 7. He was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in the Delhi excise policy case on March 21, Thursday.
