Second Phase of Lok Sabha Election Begins In 88 Seats Across 13 States

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The Second Phase of the 18th Lok Sabha elections in 88 constituencies across 13 states began on April 26, Friday.

Elections will be held in districts of Assam, Bihar Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Rajasthan, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Karnataka, and Jammu & Kashmir. Further, elections will be held in all constituencies of Kerala today.

The first phase of Lok Sabha elections was conducted in 102 constituencies across 21 states. However, fresh polls were conducted in Manipur due to violence. Manipur, Tripura, and West Bengal recorded the highest voter turnout.
