In Diamond Harbour, Voters Were Beaten Up, The Police & Central Forces Were Inactive

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The last phase of Lok Sabha polls are going on today in various places across the state. Tensions are high in the state. Today there was a scuffle and mayhem in booth number 187, 188, 189 and 190 of B R Ambedkar School of Metiaburoj under Diamond Harbor Lok Sabha.

According to sources, two voters of booth number 189 were surrounded and beaten up.

They said that although the police were present in the incident, no one came forward to help them. This incident created tension in the area.
