ECI Revises Poll Date For Anantnag-Rajouri Constituency

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Amid the Lok Sabha elections, the Election Commission of India has revised the election date for Jammu & Kashmir's Anantnag-Rajouri district on April 30, Tuesday.

The ECI shifted the Anantnag Parliamentary Constituency's election date to 25th May. Previously, the constituency was set to go to polls on May 7. The Poll Commission stated that the cause behind the move was various logistic, communication, and natural barriers of connectivity turning out as hindrances in political campaigning.

The first phase and second phases of the Lok Sabha elections have been concluded. The third phase will be held on May 7. Results will be announced on June 4.
