BY A STAFF REPORTER: Amid the last phase of the Lok Sabha elections, 11.31% voter turnout was recorded across eight states till 09:00 AM on June 1, Saturday. Himachal Pradesh is leading with 14.35% voter turnout.
Along with Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal recorded high voter turnouts with 12.94% and 12.63%. Moreover, Odisha recorded the lowest voter turnout at 7.69%.

The final and the seventh phase of the general elections to the 18th Lok Sabha is being conducted in 57 Lok Sabha Constituencies across eight states and one Union Territory.
Key constituencies include Varanasi, where PM Modi will be contesting, Mandi where BJP Candidate Kangana Ranaut will contest her first elections, and Diamond Harbour where Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee's nephew Abhishek Banerjee will contest for TMC. The results will be declared on June 4.
