By a Satff Reporter: As the Department of Posts is celebrating National postal Week from 9th October, 2023 to 13th October, 2023, 11th October,2023 Wednesday has been observed as 'Philately Day'.

In this Occasion, a grand programme has been held at Kolkata GPO where permanent pictorial cancellations on Durga Puja and important landmarks of Kolkata i.e. Victoria Memorial, Alipore Central jail, Indian Museum, Jorasanko Thakurbari, Kalighat Temple and Dakshineswar Kali Temple have been launched and also Picture Postcards have been released by Shri Sanjiv Ranjan, Postmaster General, Kolkata Region in the presence of Shri Gaurav Singla, Director of Postal Services, Kolkata Region.
